Koolertron Function Generator

The Koolertron is a digital, two-channel function generator capable of making sinusiodal, square and triangle wave outputs from <1 Hz to 15MHz and up to 10 Volts peak-to-peak.

To operate it:

  • the power switch in on the left side, as you face the controls;
  • the upper (yellow) portion of the controls refer to Channel 1; the lower (blue) portion is for Channel 2;
  • To select which controls you are addressing, press the Channel (1 or 2) button. If the button is lighted, there will be output from that channel. If the button is not lighted, that channel is OFF.
  • To select an adjustable parameter (Function, Frequency, Amplitude), press the corresponding grey button;
  • When you have selected a parameter, the knob will allow you to increase or decrease the value. The arrow buttons below the knob control the digit. This allows you to make coarse or fine adjustments;
